I have (temporarily?) turned off the ability to leave anonymous comments on my LJ. I was getting too many spam messages.

If you don't have an LJ and want to say something about one of my posts you can sign it using your Facebook or Twitter account.

Lately my cell phone has started spontaneously turning itself off, so if you call and get my voice mail and I haven't called back within a reasonable amount of time either email me or try calling again.

Also, as I've said before, email is almost always the best way to get in touch with me.

Firefox no longer seems to be working on my computer here at work. I think the tech folks have disabled it. This won't stop my LJ activites, but it will make them more difficult. I may end up stopping the daily State of the Jenny post, and reading/commenting on my flist may get even more sporadic.

Body: I'm under-slept, and all the joints in my legs are killing me, but I'm feeling good in spite of it.

Reading: Utopia: Thomas More I made almost no progress on this over the weekend. I think I'm going to give up and start something lighter tonight.

Hearing: The Commonwealth Club of California until around 11:15, music after that.

Etsy find: Beautiful sea-glass pendant

Project Follow-up: I spent huge swathes of the weekend playing Sims. I did get some clothes shopping done, and quite a bit of laundry, so the weekend wasn't completely unproductive.

Tonight's Project: Walking. No other plans.

Randomness: If you need to get in touch with me, here is the hierarchy of effective methods.
1) Email - I'm constantly online during business hours, and pretty reliably online the rest of the time. If I'm at work or at home and awake I'll almost certainly get back to you within 20 minutes.
2) IM - The only chat program I use is Google Chat, and I'm on it whenever I'm online. I'll probably get back to you as quickly as with email, but IM feels more like an interruption and annoys me more.
3) LJ comment - I'll see it as quickly as I will an email, but unless you also have an LJ account you won't know when I reply to you.
4) Phone - I'm not allowed to answer my phone while I'm working, so if you call me unexpectedly during the day I won't answer unless you manage to catch me during the tiny part of my lunch break I actually spend in the break room. If you leave a message I'll call back when I get a chance. If you must actually talk to me as soon as possible you can use one of the above methods to ask me you call you or you can send me a text message saying "Emergency" or "Call ASAP."

We've turned off our land-line, so the only way to get in touch with us is now our cell phones. If you don't have our numbers yet you'll have to email to get them.

You should really check out this Etsy shop. She mostly sells really pretty pre-dyed fiber, ready to be spun.
