Should We Welcome Undocumented Immigrants?
I'm currently listening to the Intelligence Squared episode Should We Welcome Undocumented Immigrants?
Some interesting arguments, but the two sides seemed to be trying to answer different questions.
My opinion, after listening to the whole thing, is that we should make it easier for people to come here legally and harder for them to live here illegally. Sort of middle ground between the major points of the two sides. I'm glad I wasn't actually at the debate because I wouldn't have been able choose either of the options in the ending vote.
