Con Plans For the Next Year (or so)

1. I'm going to skip ReaderCon this year. I'd love to go, but I just don't have the vacation time to spare.

2. I'm going to skip Pi Con as well. It's the weekend Tom and I will be on our way back from visiting my family in Michigan.

3. I almost certainly will be going to Arisia. Of the several cons I go to, it's my favorite.

4. Boskone is a possibility, but I've never been and don't know much about it.

Added5. I'll almost certainly go to Lunacon. It's a fun con that always has good guest-of-honors.

5 6. I might manage to make it to WisCon. I think I can even combine it with a visit to my family. The plan that has occurred to me is to drive to EL and visit, drive to Muskegon and take the Lake Express Ferry to Milwaukee, then drive to Madison for the con.

Any other cons I should think about?

I'd suggest AC (http://www.anthrocon.org/), but that's because I'm part of the furry fandom, so.

Thanks, but it's not something I have any interest in.

Lunacon is nice. It's a nice, small traditional sci-fi con in the coolest hotel in New York. :-)

Ya know, I knew I was forgetting one that I'd probably get to. I just couldn't think which one.

Obviously you should come to Genericon, since it's the only convention in my city. :)

Genericon is mostly a gaming con, right? I'm not much of a gamer.
