N - Nicknames: Jenny. My family and absolute closest friends are allowed to call me Jen. If you don't know that you're allowed you probably aren't.

O - Overnight hospital stay other than birth: Just having my gall-bladder out in November 2009.

P - Pants or pantyhose: Whichever is appropriate to the situation.

Q - Favorite Movie Quote: I can't think of one that really speaks to me.

S - Siblings: *deep breath* Three full brothers, two half-sisters, two half-brothers, and three step-sisters. The age range is from a year younger than me to 24 years younger.

T - Time you wake up: Workdays I am supposed get up around 7:30, weekends it could be anytime between 9 and noon.

U - Underwear: My preferred style is high-cut cotton briefs, but there is a time and place for other types.

V - Vegetable favorite: broccoli is my favorite, but I like most vegetables.

W - Ways you run late: The most common reason is that I hit the off button on my alarm when I meant to hit snooze.

X - X-rays you’ve had: I think just dental.

Y - Yummy food you make: I make this ham casserole fairly often.

Z - Zoo favourite: I love the big cats. Lions and tigers and cheetahs and jaguars and leopards and all the rest.

If I ever mistakenly call you "Jen", it's because several other Jennifers in my life, including my spouse, feel exactly the opposite. Spouse, for example, pretty much only let her mother call her "Jenny", and she's been dead for 7 years...

That said, I'll try to remember :-)

I try not to get too irritated by it, because I know that most women named Jennifer feel the opposite. It only really drives me batty when the person calling me Jen is a relative stranger.
