One year on

Happy anniversary to my beloved! We are officially no longer newlyweds.

I think you can still be newlyweds if you want to. I mean, proportionally to the amount of time you're going to be married, it's hardly been any time at all.

Oh, we can still feel/act like newlyweds for as long as we want to, but traditionally a couple was only considered newlyweds for the first year of the marriage.

'Feh' on that! Stefka and I still describe ourselves as newlyweds, I tend to call her my (blushing) bride.

Happy Aniversary!!!
Hopefully you'll feel like newlyweds for a long time to come, even if you are no longer in fact classified as such.

If we're still newlyweds six years in, you can still be newlyweds at one year! Keep holding hands! :)

Anniversary

Being a newlywed is about keeping it fresh and exciting. As long as you look forward to being in each other's company you will be newlyweds.
Love,
Dad
