When touch typing...

it's generally useful to make sure your fingers are on the keys that they are supposed to be on.

For some reason I keep placing my right hand one key too far to the right, leading to some interesting typos.

I do that all the time. It's really bad when I'm not looking at the screen...I have a tendency to type and watch TV, and then I've done several paragraphs like that.

I only seem to do it when I'm going back and forth between the mouse and the keyboard a lot, which mostly happens at work.

Makes sense, it's when you have to actually take your hand off of the keyboard. Once my hand are in the right place I'm usually fine...
