Odd Concert

I'm listening to a podcast of a concert that Of Montreal did in Washington DC back in September, and I really can't decide if I like them or not.

Instrumentally, they remind me more of the soundtrack to Velvet Goldmine than anything else. Somewhere between Glam Rock and Punk Rock, with a modern gloss.

Lyrically, they're just odd. I can't come up with a better word.

I really like Wraith Pinned to the Mist..., but honestly none of their other songs are slaying me.

Yeah. They seem like the sort of thing I'll enjoy when I come across it, but not enough to seek them out.
