Hmm, what can I add to what I wrote over there...?

I grew up in Michigan, tend pretty liberal on most issues, have both hippy-dippy and pragmatically realistic sides, and don't post nearly as often as I should. Mostly because I can't think of a good topic.

So this is my pledge: I'll try to post something each weekday. You can help me keep that promise by leaving ideas here. Questions you'd like me to answer, topics you'd like me to expand on, whatever you want. Just try to keep it PG, because I'll probably be posting these from work.

Anybody else not getting comments emailed to them?

I need to get around to renewing my paid membership.

I sort of want to get back into the habit of doing a daily post, but I'm really bored with the format I was using.

What would you guys like to see me talk about every day?

I want to put this sentence as the subtitle to my LJ, but it's longer than they allow.

You can't change the past, you can't change now, you can only try to change the future.

Any suggestions for how I could rephrase it to be shorter? I need to squeeze 20 characters out of it.

9:47 Edit: My new idea: The past and present are frozen, but the future is still fixable.

I have (temporarily?) turned off the ability to leave anonymous comments on my LJ. I was getting too many spam messages.

My paid account expired.

I thought about not renewing it, but have decided that I will. I have lots of icons, and like actually being able to use them. The renewal will have to wait until I get home though. I'm not entering my Credit Card number into my work computer.

I was neutral to positive on the new layout of the posting page, but this is ridiculous! I just spent the last half hour trying to post some of my latest graphic creations, and it was not co-operating.

The automatic "insert images from my Scrapbook" feature seems to be completely broken, and when I gave up on that and went to add them by hand, the lj-cut wasn't working the way it should.
