Monday Is Going To Be A Huge Day

Body: So freaking cold. I can't seem to get warm, and the cold is making all of my joints hurt.

Stress Level: 2

Book Review: Finished The Crazy Years by Spider Robinson on Friday night. A truly excellent collection of essays and articles. My only problem with any of them is that they generally were too short. I would have liked to see more detail. Rating: 9 out of 10. Not yet loanable through the Kindle.

Reading: Sunrise Alley by Catherine Asaro

Hearing: Music - right this second, "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" from my Original London Cast recording of Les Miserables.

Etsy Find: Vintage crystal cordial glasses.

Project Follow-up: Both dropping the car off on Friday and picking it up again on Saturday were more hassle than I wanted. Next time it needs work done I'll take it in early on a weekday morning and use their shuttle to get to work, and the use the shuttle to pick it up again when they're done with it.

Tonight's Project: Dishes, and continuing to untangle the giant mess of yarn so that I can actually make it into a scarf for myself.

Randomness: What's the weather like where you are? Here in the upper Hudson Valley it's absurdly cold. The predicted high is 9F. Ick. They're also predicting another major storm for tomorrow.

That Asaro book was the first ever book I read on an e-reader (since it was free from Baen at the time). I quite enjoyed it.

It's not fabulous, but it's not bad either.

It's cold here too. Dropped down to -17 yesterday. Not sure what it is now but once it gets past a certain temperature, it doesn't matter. It all just feels the same.....numb.

I'm just glad it's going to warm up to the 20's tomorrow. And I'm sad that fact makes me so glad. The 20's should not be the temperatures you look forward to.
