I think they fired the co-worker from hell!!!!!

My supervisor asked to talk to him out of the room, and a few seconds later folks showed up with boxes and started loading them with his crap.

After a few minutes my supervisor came back without the jerk and started helping filling the boxes. Somebody else grabbed the jerks nametag and took it out of the room.

Work has suddenly become a much more pleasant place.

Yup, that sounds like a "fired". They no longer let you go back for your stuff, they pack it for you, you just get escorted right out of the room. *nod*

He had the cubicle next to mine, and it was like having a potty-mouthed 6-year-old with Tourette's syndrome playing near me.

He never shut up for more than a few minutes at a time and what was coming out of his mouth was usually bathroom humor, mocking other people in the department, or blind parroting of whatever Howard Stern had said in his last show.

I really hope that when they told him he was fired they went into lots of detail and explained precisely what he did that caused it.
