Somebody told me about this site that will let you catalog your books and other media: lib.rario.us. I checked it out a few days ago and decided that since it looked pretty cool I would would make an account for Tom & I. Our account name is BeardCerul (Tom, if you are interested I'll tell you the password when you get home). Today I started listing our collection, starting with the books here in the office. At the moment our list is rather heavily slanted towards Tom's computer books, because I just started at the top of the office bookcase and worked my way down.

The site is very new and still has a lot of bugs, which meant that not everything that I tried to enter was in their database. Out of the first 2.5 shelves, I was only able to list 24 books. I may try some of the failures again once I've gone through the rest of our collection. Hmm... I wonder how it deals if you try to add something that you've already listed.

the site should tell you that you already have it, and give you a link to the item in your collection so you can edit your review and ratings...

thanks for checkin it out :)

Cool. That will make going back and adding the missed ones easier.

By the way, who is this?

Try http://librarything.com/ instead. Much richer interface, better database, larger community.
