Friday morning I had what I thought would be an interview for a job. It turned out to be an interview with the temp agency that was filling that position, to determine if they would pass my resume onto the job. It went well, and they said that they would keep me on file and give my resume to any one looking for someone with my skills. I'm supposed to call them once a week or so to see if they've found anything for me.

Friday evening Tom & I, along with our friends Sunny & Jaime went to dinner and a comedy show at the Funny Farm. Wonderful food and very funny performers. Plus, we got bonus points for doing something out of the ordinary!

Today Tom and I decided that our mattress is dead and we need a new one. We spent 6 hours mattress shopping (that does include a 1 hour break for dinner) this afternoon. We went to 3 different stores and spent about 1.5 hours at each, laying down on all of the mattresses and comparing them. You wouldn't think it would be so exhausting to shop for mattresses. By the end though, we each had a killer headache and were completely worn out.

At each store we narrowed it down to the 1 or 2 mattresses we like best, and since Taft seems to offer the best financing we now just need to decide which of our two favorites to get. The cheaper one will actually work out to slightly higher payments, but for only one year. If we go with the more expensive one, we have lower payments for two years. It may come down to which has the better warranty.
