Sorry about the last couple of days. I didn't forget, but I was lazy.

Today's good thing is a couple of the CDs that I took to work.

Zero Church by Suzzy & Maggie Roche, a album of sung prayers.

My favorite track on this one was #3, Anyway, about how we shouldn't let people's reactions dictate our behavior. I also liked God Bless The Artists.

We Have Fed You All A Thousand Years by Utah Phillips, an album of songs from the early days of the labor movement, many written by Joe Hill and other Wobblies.

My two favorite songs here were Bread and Roses, about how as human beings we need more that just the bread to keep our bodies alive; and Solidarity Forever, the anthem of the American labor movement.

Both good CDs that helped me to get through what was otherwise a difficult day.
