This idea came to me while I was at work today. I'll be fiddling with it for a while.

Thin clouds veil the full moon,
haloing it in black and white rainbows.
Trees cast pale shadows onto snow.

time passes

Stars fade into invisibility,
diamonds lose sparkle,
light drowns in brighter light.
Blackness drains away.

time passes

The sun rises on a mid-winter day.
Stained glass in gemstone colors
builds up from the horizon.
The world begins anew.

LET THERE BE LIGHT

Around 11 o'clock this morning, I posted the first draft of this poem. I revised it repeatedly throughout the day. The last revision was around 5:00.

My question is: would you guys have preferred I keep the earlier drafts visible in some way?
