Looking for Recs

I've posted a few rec requests in my daily posts recently, but I think maybe people haven't seen them there. Therefore, I'm reposting them here, oldest to most recent:

1. What's the coolest thing you're pretty sure I've never heard of? (Keep it more-or-less work safe, please.)

2. In my constant search for new stuff to keep me awake at work, I'm looking for recommendations. What LJs should I be reading? What communities should I be part of? Any websites you think I should check out?

3. Recommend me some fun clothes? I'm looking for stuff that you think I'd actually wear for day to day life, but is a little more interesting that I usually buy.

Added: Some of these did get 1 or 2 replies, I'm just curious if they'll get more response here than they did as part of my daily posts.

Every Friday is Bean Friday

Body: My limbs all seem to be as good as they ever get today, but I have a headache that will not go away.

Reading: I'm still reading A Sundial In A Grave: 1610.

Hearing: I'm still working through my backlog of The Roadhouse.

Etsy find: Silver perfume locket

Project Follow-up: I acquired 5 more bottles for cordials and a great big bin I can put in the basement and age them in. I also got some dishes done, but not enough to really have room to work.

Tonight's Project: Staying late at work again, planning stir-fry for dinner, then maybe some cordial making after that.

Randomness: *sigh* I accidentally weirded out a co-worker on lunch today. She was having trouble getting her single-serving pizza out of the plastic wrap, so I offered to go back to my desk and get my pocket knife so she could cut it open. She gave me the strangest look and said "I'm not even going to ask why you have that" (or words to that effect.) I don't mind people thinking I'm strange, but I really do prefer to do it on purpose.
