Or maybe both. We can never rule out both.

What I need is a small toy goose. Something about the size of a Beanie Baby. I will proceed to wrap a green and white scarf around its neck, attach a (miniature) basket of cherries to one wing and a (tiny) car to the other wing. Other accessories may be added if I can think of them.

The end result will be...

A MichiGander.

Actually, if the test one turns out cute I might make a bunch of customized ones as gifts.

I think i was at petsmart this weekend and they had little goose toys for the doggies. About the size of a beanie baby.

There are beanie-baby geese! I have owned Honker in the past, when I adored the Beanies.

If I do end up making these as gifts Honker would be just about perfect! Thanks for the link.

What's good for the Michi-goose is good for the Michi-gander.

I'm guessing that wasn't the first time you've heard that incredibly lame pun.

alternatively there are the ones that make the appropriate noise when you squeeze them - from some combination of Audubon and a stuffie maker. They are Everywhere.

Now would that be funnier as a gift for the family members who can sing, or the ones who can't?
