or hornets, or maybe they're yellow-jackets.

Whatever they are, I have one in the bathroom and another between the glass and the screen in the bedroom. I took the litter box out of the bathroom and have closed it off from the kittens, mostly because they were trying to catch the one in there and I don't know how much damage a sting would do. I also didn't want them chasing it into the rest of the house or trashing the bathroom in their attempts to catch it.

Something like that. I hate that whole catagory of bug. I can deal with bees, because they make honey; but as far as I can tell there is no reason for wasp-like creatures to exist.

I'll bring you some cat-safe bug killing stuff tonight. It's mint based. Bugs dead, no bad smell, safe for you and fuzzies.

Victor Poison Free... spray can with a bright yellow cap. I have 3.5 cans of it under the kitchen sink.

If you have extra, maybe I will take advantage of it. The one in the bedroom seems to have found it's way out, but I haven't checked the bathroom yet.

Wasps are evil!

It's a good idea to keep the kitties away, though - a sting in the wrong place could kill them, if I recall correctly (ie, in the throat if they managed to catch one and swallow it). It's not something that's *likely* but it's still better to be safe than sorry :)
