Dear LJ - Help me make up my mind?

The New York State Sheep & Wool Festival is this weekend, at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. I would like to go to it.

I also have a list of errands to run and chores to do that will fill an entire day.

My question is: should I devote Saturday to chores, and Sunday to the Festival, or other way around?

From everything I've heard about Rhinebeck, Saturday is extremely ridiculously crowded, and Sunday is only ridiculously crowded. Have you checked for Rav groups? I'm sure there are lots of forum threads already. Plus you'll probably be tired the next day, so erranding or work? I dunno.

I think I'll end up doing chores Saturday, and then reward myself with Rhinebeck on Sunday.

I suspect the wool festival will be more active (with more activities happening) on Saturday. Presuming your errands are more mundane (laundry, groceries, etc.) can easily be accomplished on a Sunday.

That is a very good point, and one that I had forgotten to consider. I took a look at the schedule, and it does appear that more of Saturday's activities look interesting to me than Sunday's.
