Thank you to everybody for the birthday wishes!

I have a insanely busy (but fun (I hope)) weekend planned:

Tonight: Tom & I are going out for a nice dinner at The Barnsider
Tomorrow: We're going to a friend's Halloween party. (Which reminds me- Does anybody have a violin case I could borrow for the weekend?)
Sunday: I'm going to see a Joan Baez concert in Poughkeepsie with a friend
Monday: I took the day off work, and am going to NYC with the same friend

We've been there once before, but not for several years. Not going someplace new sort of breaks my birthday tradition of trying someplace I've never been, but nothing new really caught my eye this year.

Well, I noticed that our old standby the Butchers' Block changed its look and name to "Central Steak" with a re-do of the menu, so I may have to try there.

Have you ever been to the Koto? If you like Japanese/other "Far East" menus, they've got some really good stuff. Probably the best sushi in the area.

I think we went to the Koto last year. It's near the northern end of Wolf Rd, right?

Alas, one of the restaurants I had a great time at some years back no longer exists -- the Old Daley Inn.
