You can now loan (some) books between Kindles or Kindle apps. Lending Kindle books.

Not everything is available yet, but I'm always happy to loan anything I can. If you have a Kindle, or a Kindle app on your phone/iPad/computer, and are interesting in borrowing from me all I need is your email address. Let me know if there are any particular titles you want to borrow, and if I have it and it's lend-able, I'll loan it to you.

Help me Obi Wan, you're my only hope!

OK. The easiest way to get ebooks into your Kindle account is through Amazon's website. Once you've done that, this is how to read them on your Android.

1) Open the Kindle app. You'll see a list of the books you currently have in your phone. Tap on one of them to open it. If you want to read something that isn't on that list, move on to step two.
2) Hit the menu button on your phone. You should see an option for "Archived Items". Select that.
3) The list of ebooks you've bought through Amazon should show up. You can sort it by author or title.
4) Press a book. It should automatically download to your phone and open to the first page.

I'll demonstrate at the party, if you need me to.
