jennythereaderMy tentative plan for the next week. Steps must happen in this order, if any fail the whole plan dies.
1. Work tomorrow (7:30 - 1). Talk to Peggy about getting enough extra hours each day this week that I can take Friday off. If this is possible, move on to step 2. If not, plan fails.
2. Call Dad, see if he is willing/able to pick me up at the Detroit Airport on Friday the 11th at approximately 10 am. If he can't, try my brothers. If they can't try... anyone else I can think of. If nobody can, plan fails.
3. Arrange to get to Pennsic from EL. I'd prefer to do that on Sunday, but will take what I can get. It's a 5-6 hour drive, and the possibility exists that Tom or a friend could be persuaded to meet me & my ride part way. Toledo seems to be the halfway point. If no ride can be arranged, plan fails.
4. Buy ticket. The best price I've found so far is for a 5:30 am or a 6:20 am departure from Albany. The first time I saw them, they were $145. Right now they're $185. If the price goes above $200 that's too much, plan fails.
