3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could play an instrument or sing.
4. Favorite place? Don't know that I have one. That comfy spot on the loveseat?
5. Favorite vegetable? Corn on the cob in late summer.
6. What was the last book you read? Grave Sight by Charlene Harris
7. Are you Dirty or Clean? I'm a dirty dirty old woman
8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Yes to both... but only my ears.
9. Worst Habit? Compulsive over eating.

2. What's your philosophy on life? Not sure I have a defined philosophy...
3. Negative or Optimistic? Cynical.
4. What was your dream growing up? I wanted to be a vet.
5. Worst thing to ever happen to you? hooking up with my abusive ex.

9. Do you Trust me? Pretty much.
10. Have you ever kept anything from me? Probably. I don't really tell anyone everything.
11. What do you think of me as a Person? You're good people.
12. Do you think I'm sane or insane? You at least PRESENT yourself as one of the saner people of this group.
13. Would you cry for me if I died? Yes. Probably quite a bit.
14. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? Crime partner.
15. If you could change anything about me, would you? Your bad knees. Cause they limit OTHER activites that I would like to do with you.
16. How do you fall asleep? Usually on my belly with cats all over me.
17. Would you come over to yell at me or just call? Just call.
18. Would you go on a blind date if I set you up? Nope. Married and selectively poly. Not searching.
19. If I only had one day to live would you be honest or lie? Probably lie, if the truth would hurt people. No reason to stab people on my way out the door.
20. A million bucks.. what would you do with it? Invest in low risk stuff, go on a very good vacation, pay off all mine and Jaime's debt. Plan to retire a few years earlier.
21. What is your worst fear? don't know that I can put that into words.

24. Can you sing or dance? Dance, yes. Sing... fuck no.

3. What talent do you wish you had?To play every musical instrument I have ever wanted, well enough to get paid to play.

Date: 2007-02-02 07:15 pm (UTC)Yes. I'm not a food channel geek, but I can make all the basics, follow a recipe and I'm not afraid to experiment.
2. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator?
Use the emergency button, use my cell phone and hope like hell I wasn't stuck for long and that no one smelled.
3. What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could sing, like really sing, like Jennifer Holiday or Aretha Franklin.
4. Favorite place?
Hawaii. I wouldn't need any therapy at all if I could live in Hawaii.
5. Favorite vegetable?
So many. Asparagus, I guess, if I had to choose. Roasted with a little bit of olive oil and kosher salt.
6. What was the last book you read?
Just finished Carl Hiaasen's "Nature Girl" and starting Don Delillo's "underworld"

So many... overeating in times of stress, blaming myself for things I can't control, my first instinct is to be quiet rather than try to talk things out, I'm sensitive and I take everything personally... do you want me to go on? :D

2. What's your philosophy on life?
Be kind. Think before you speak. There but for the grace of God, go you. Be fearless and you will be amazed.
3. Negative or Optimistic?
Optimist overall. Not so much right now.
4. What was your dream growing up?
I wanted to be a dancer, an actress, a writer and a psychiatrist. When I was older I wanted to join the Peace Corps. Then I realized I don't like to be uncomfortable.
5. Worst thing to ever happen to you?
People dying that I loved, my tonsillectomy went awry and my neck is scarred up from that. I've had my heart broken quite a few times and my brain chemicals are far from normal at any given time.
6. Would you give me money or a slap in the face?
Um, neither? Maybe the money if I had extra? :-p
7. Tell me one weird fact about you:
I can't drink any cola that has been "decaffeinated" i.e. Caffeine free Pepsi, Coke, Mt. Dew, etc. I am allergic to whatever they do to make it caffeine-free. However, I can (though rarely) drink sprite, 7-up, rootbeer, etc. without caffeine.

Yeah, and you can tell from the locked posts you're able to read. :-)

Dude, I've kept things from EVERYONE.

We're all who we are. Trying to accept that in myself, wouldn't dream of trying to change someone else.

10 mgs of ambien most nights (for the last three or four months, anyway)

Um... it's a long drive, and I can't think of what I'd be doing yelling.

Married.

I'd be honest. I'd want to know. I mean, what if you did laundry or something? No way.

Pay off some bills, charity, take a nice vacation (ITALY), save for kids' education.

Rejection, abandonment, something happening to the kids, dying before the kids are old enough to take care of themselves, other people I love dying...

Read, sex, garden, exercise

Neither great but I LOVE to do them both.
