Body: Good news - I actually got a good night's sleep last night! Bad news - my right knee is killing me. I don't think I did anything particular to it, but it might be the change in air pressure.

Reading: Still working on The Golden Bough by James Frazer.

Hearing: The Footstompin' Podcast - Scottish and Scottish influenced music, mostly traditional folk.

Project Follow-up: Last night was busy. First I did my usual chores of dishes and making dinner. Then I washed and pitted all of the leftover cherries (about 5 cups) and started them soaking in vodka, which is the first step in turning them into another cherry cordial. After that I washed and sliced 6 largeish cucumbers and turned them into refrigerator pickles using this recipe. Lessons learned for next time: have one container big enough to hold all the pickles. All of this was around Tom fixing the driver's side mirror from my car, and [livejournal.com profile] gwenlianna drilling scales to make herself a set of armor.

Tonight's Project: Sorting out and putting away this week's farm box, then dinner and hanging out with a friend.

Randomness: One of the things I want to do before Pennsic is get a haircut. What I can't decide is if I should get a trim (an inch or less), or a drastic cut (3-4 inches). Does anybody have an opinion?
