The Byrds version of "Turn, Turn, Turn".
The Beatles version of "Twist and Shout".
Both Peter, Paul and Mary's and Johnny Cash's versions of "It Ain't Me, Babe". Very different, but both wonderful.
Lots of others, but those are the ones that first came to mind.
