Bad News and Good News

jennythereaderThe bad: My friend with the new baby is still in the hospital, and it's looking like she's going to be recovering for a very long time. Her heart, liver, and kidneys are all malfunctioning, and some of the problems are interfering with the treatments for other problems.
The good: I had my annual review at work today, and got a small raise. It's not much, but every little bit helps.
