Taking one of my prescription pain killers at 4 in the morning... not a good idea.

5 hours later, and I'm still feeling loopy. This morning was also the first time I've ever felt car-sick while I was the one driving (although that might also have had something to do with having the heat too high).

So for future reference, even if the pain wakes me up in the middle of the night, only a half pill if I have to do anything in the next six hours.

Oh, yeah, wow.... you're taking your meds on an empty stomach when you take them in the middle of the night. I have a firm rule that if I haven't taken "X med that makes me sleepy/loopy" before 10pm, I can't have it at all. Encourages me to be proactive, and have fewer "hangovers" the next day.

Heck, I'm still feeling slightly... off. Normally I only take one at bedtime if something hurts badly enough that I think I won't be able to sleep. This was the first time in a long time that pain woke me up after I was already asleep.

I'm not sure if the empty stomach actually had much to do with it. This drug is a little odd in that it doesn't matter if I take it on an empty stomach or not, all the instructions say is to be consistent and always take it the same way.
