If you're a registered voter in the United States, please remember to vote today. If you aren't already registered today would be a good day to fix that. There are lots of local offices and important issues on the ballot all over the country. And if you live in East Lansing, Michigan vote for Kevin Beard for city council.

Even in the city tonight, we know exactly who will win. Convenient for knowing where to place a reporter. Not so good for democracy and the future of the country.

What's sad is the voters will allow Bloomberg to ignore, with impunity, the referendum that gave the city term limits.

The voters should reinstate a two term limit, and this time, include wording that allows the law to be changed only by referendum.
