Body: No problems worth mentioning.

Reading: I'm still reading Founding Brothers.

Hearing: More concerts from Live In Concert from All Songs Considered

Wearing: Today's perfume is Eat Me!, from BPAL's Mad Tea Party line. It's another of my favorites, and one I wear fairly frequently.

Etsy find: I love this embroidery pattern. The seller emails you a PDF, and you can print it off and use it as many times as you like.

Tonight's Project: I'm not sure. Dinner, than maybe something crafty.

Project Follow-up: I was able to talk to Mom. Plans were made, and ideas were given.

How's Founding Brothers? I'd heard good things about it and was mildly interested in reading it.

It's pretty interesting so far. The author bounces around in time a little more than I would prefer, but he also goes into a lot more detail about the personal friendships and rivalries within the founding generation (as he calls it) than most historians do. He also does a very good job explaining how their personal and political relationships intertwined. In the first section he gave the most coherent explanation for the duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr that I've ever read anywhere.
