Wednesday Is Already Here!
Dec. 16th, 2009 11:31 amPosting a little early today.
Reading: I'm still reading Founding Brothers. I like the author's writing style, and am going to have to find more of his work.
Hearing: Mountain Stage
Wearing: Today's perfume is Jezebel, from BPAL's Ars Amatoria line (about a third of the way down the page). The lab's description: A gloriously decadent blend of honey, roses, orange blossom and sandalwood. Tom likes this one on me, which is good because he's sort of "meh" about most of the scents I like best. We both agree that Jezebel is good but not perfect, and that I should try some that are similar to it in my next order.
Etsy find: A really cute messenger bag. All three colors are nice, but I like the Poppy best.
Tonight's Project: Christmas shopping.
Project Follow-up: I made dinner last night. Stir fries made with frozen veggies are not as good as ones made with fresh. It's been a while, and I had forgotten how big the difference is.
Randomness: I figured out what I'm getting Mom for Christmas: A set of bottomless treat jars. I'll get two or three nice jars or canisters, and fill one with good coffee, the second with good popcorn, and if I do a third it will probably be bath salts. I'll also include a note saying that for the next year I'll re-fill them whenever they get used up.
