Body: The nose scrape and cheek bumps are mostly gone, and the rest of me feels as good as it ever does.

Reading: I took a break from Anathem to read yesterday's acquisitions.

Book Review: Cordials from Your Kitchen has a lot of recipes that sound yummy, and a lot that sound fairly easy. There is even a significant degree of overlap between the two categories. I think my first creation will be the "Quick and Easy" Cherry Liqueur (sugar syrup, vodka, concentrated cherry flavoring), most likely a half batch. If that turns out well then I'll try one of the versions made with fresh cherries. If that turns out well... I'll probably be going a little nuts. :-)

Hearing: Fresh Air

Etsy find: A lovely moonstone necklace

Project Follow-up: I test drove a Subaru Legacy wagon last night. It was OK, but not great. I'd prefer something a little smaller.

Tonight's Project: Dentist, dinner with friends (probably), and maybe another test drive if we can squeeze it in between the two.

Thursday is NOT canceled. It's just hiding. *runs*

My sympathy on the dentist visit. Although we have a lovely dentist, I dread dentist visits because back when I was a teen I had some hideous experiences with a dentist not believing me when I told him it hurt.

Your Cordial book sounds great. Fresh cherries! I love the idea. *wants fresh cherries*

It's not good when medical people don't listen to their patients. My current dentist is very good, so the visit isn't as horrible as it could be.

Actual cordial making is going to wait until my car is replaced and all the accident aftermath is taken care of, but I'm looking forward to it.
