Body: Feet and knees, ankles and hips: my legs hate me.
Reading: I'm still reading A Sundial In A Grave: 1610. I'm enjoying it a lot, but it's definitely not everybody's thing.
Hearing: The Roadhouse.
Etsy find: New Ashford 16 inch Rigid Heddle Loom - I've wanted to weave my own cloth since I was a bitty-wee thing. I think I imprinted on the scene of Almanzo watching his mother weaving in Farmer Boy.
Tonight's Project: I'm staying late at work again. At least til 5:30, maybe 6. On the way home I'm going to stop at the local Christmas Tree Shops, and see if they have any more of the bottles I'm using to age cordials and/or a Rubber Maid type bin I can put down in the basement. Either before or after dinner with friends I'm going to do some of the prep for my next cordial: washing all the pans I'll need, figuring out where in the basement I'll put that bin full of bottles, clearing counter space. I might have time to actually mix everything up, but I'm not counting on it.
Randomness: Recommend me some fun clothes? I'm looking for stuff that you think I'd actually wear for day to day life, but is a little more interesting that I usually buy.

Date: 2010-01-22 12:22 am (UTC)I really like clothes from Horny Toad: http://www.hornytoad.com/ but I tend to like clothes that feel like athletic wear/pajamas :)
They are very comfortable, wash really well, and many of their styles work well for work as well as play. It can be expensive, but they sometimes have sales, and actually you can usually find their stuff cheaper if you don't buy directly from them (wait for places that sell their clothes to have a sale). I have several of their dresses/skirts and I love them! I can wear them to work with nicer shoes but I've also worn them for light hiking with my hiking sandals. They have a couple of different fabrics, and I like some of them more than others, but all are very comfortable and hold up well. The only problem I have had is with one of the fabrics, the white shirt is a little see-through, but other than that I've never been disappointed. Let me know if it looks like the kind of thing you are interested in and I'm happy to make some more specific recommendations :)
I've also found nice things at Title Nine http://www.titlenine.com/ although they have more sports wear and less every day wear. They also sell Horny Toad. Athleta is another place that sells a mix of everyday wear and sports wear and also has some great stretchy/comfy dresses/skirts.
