I Made it In To Work

That drive in was NOT fun. I don't think Albany had bothered plowing the roads since midnight. It got better once I hit the city line.

But, I got up on time, got out the door on time, didn't detour to McDonald's, and was only 10 minutes late. Not as complete a victory as yesterday, but I'll take it.

Whew, glad you made it. I don't know where all the plows were last night -- no one seemed to be clearing any of this snow, anywhere.

Wait, someone is supposed to move the snow with something larger than my plastic shovel?

I jest, they did eventually break out the backhoe to clear a path to the dumpsters and the mailboxes in the complex. But said backhoe thereby plowed my car right back in after I'd dug it out.

'scuse me while I hunt down a backhoe and slay it.

It was only really bad in Albany proper. I work out by the airport, and once I was past SUNY's main campus the roads were OK.

I like most shades of blue, especially light blues with gray undertones. Also similar shades of lavender, pink, and green. Silver beats gold.
