Shadow Unit Dreams

I've been laying in bed the last hour, half awake, half dreaming and half planning an episode of Shadow Unit in which Sol and Daphne have a surprisingly easy time taking down a Gamma who thinks he's a Harry Potter style wizard. I may need to commit fan-fiction.

The problem is the only scene which is still at all clear in my head is the final one.

They're at a school camping trip that they think the Gamma is going to target, sitting by the campfire making small talk with one of the teachers. A scruffy looking middle aged guy stomps out of woods, sees them, and starts to wave his cane around like a wand. Before he gets a chance to say anything Sol points a random stick at him, shouts "Expelliarmus," and looks as surprised as anybody else when it works and the Gamma's cane/wand goes flying off into the night. I guess the Gamma didn't think he could do wandless magic, because they were able to bring him in at that point with no problems.

I just can't figure out how they got to that point! Otherwise, I'd love to write it.

(Of course, there are other problems. Mainly that I can't write dialog to save my soul, and I'm awful at characterization. So I don't think I could to the characters justice.)
