One of the things I did while I was out today was pick up a couple of fliers for continuing education/enrichment programs. Of course, one had a registration deadline back in January, and the other didn't have any of the sort of classes I want to take listed in the flier. That one did say that there are more classes listed on their website, so I'm checking through The Knowledge Network's site now. I also need to check out Hudson Valley CC's course listings.

I realized that given Tom's & my goals for the next 5 years or so, it makes the most sense to suck it up at this job (or one like it) for another year or two, make my life outside of work as good/fun/interesting as possible, and prepare myself to get a much better job at the end of that time. Assorted applied computer classes seem to be a good part of that.

Unfortunately, The Knowledge Network doesn't have many computer classes of the sort I want, and right now is only offering them as all day seminars - on a weekday. Not too useful. I'll check the website again in a month or so, and see if they've added anything new.
