Body: My digestive system is a little iffy, but other than that I feel decent.

Reading: I'm re-reading In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto for the umpteenth time.

Hearing: The Commonwealth Club's radio show.

Etsy find: Faceted moonstone necklace.

Project Follow-up: I'm closer to caught up with the dishes, and and I'm really making progress on my knitting. I have almost a foot done of my practice piece.

Tonight's Project: More knitting, more dishes, maybe some laundry.

Randomness: Now that I've started knitting, I've been warned about the dangers of buying yarn just because it's pretty. I'm a little broke right now, so I haven't actually been buying, but I've added a lot of pretty yarns to my etsy favorites list. I'm thinking of it as my virtual stash.

A few of my knit-crazy girlfriends have a stash box, and a firm rule. If it doesn't fit in the box, they can't have it. So after a while, it becomes a game of "one goes in, one must come out", which means either they are constantly working on projects (knit caps for cancer charities, or personal projects), or they are donating/selling/trading those old stash yarns for coveted new things. The stash can indeed take over your life, I'm told!

I have a similar rule for quilting fabrics, which I'm close to violating again due to the long stretch of one-handedness. Time to get busy again!

One in one out sounds like a good idea. I need to clean out one of the cubbies of my craft supply shelves. Once I've done that I'll start using it for yarn.
