First Knitting Project: Complete!

Since I wasn't following any particular pattern, I declared it complete when I used up the entire skein of yarn.

The object more or less resembles a short scarf (like what I've seen called "scarflettes" on Etsy). I sort of feel like I should post a picture, but I'm too lazy to dig out my camera. I think it will live in my car as an emergency extra layer for winter.

I am trying my hand at that again too. I know I made lots of potholders when I was little. I want to make scarves for the girls. Mom used to have Tom and I do knitting and crocheting when we were bored. We made many looong crochet chains.

Tom says he remembers crocheting, but not knitting. Maybe when I'm ready to learn crochet I'll get him to teach me. :-)
