Work!

I have a job!!!! A real, full-time, permanent position, doing data entry for a company that contracts with the state. It starts on Wednesday, and I'll be training for a week. The hours are less than perfect (7:30 - 4) but not awful. I'll work weekdays, and one Sunday a month, with a different day off those weeks. I'll even be able to bring in music to play (through headphones) while I'm typing.

Yay!!! I can tell you, the early shift doesn't suck so much once you get used to it. Yeah, you have to get up early, but you get out in time to still do things like get to a Doc appointment or go to the grocery store when it isn't rush hour or get a nap before the menfolk get home.

I know that it will be fine once I do adjust, it's just that the first couple of weeks are going to be painful. Getting up at 6:30 is going to be tough when I usually don't fall asleep until around 3.
