Who puts whipped cream on a cold drink?

I'm not fond of the stuff at the best of times, but at least on a hot drink I can just stir it in.

Oh, then that's not a surprise, it's even shown in the ads. Mocha ice cream shake, basically; it's a coffee smoothie, and smoothies (around here, anyway) ALWAYS come with whipped cream on top unless you say otherwise).

I don't think I've ever seen any of ads (I don't watch TV), so I didn't know what to expect. It was more like slightly chocolaty coffee with ice cubes and chocolate chips in it than a smoothy though.

Anyway, it was vile, and I ended up throwing about 2/3 of it away once I got to work.

Out of curiosity, why did you choose that one instead of standard coffee? McD's makes regular coffee by the gallon.

Because I don't like coffee. Good mocha is OK, though. My mistake was in assuming that McDonald's could make good mocha.

I would have gotten a coke, but their soda machine was being cleaned, so it wasn't an option.
