I've never understood why cats are associated with so many movie & tv villains. How can anyone be evil with a purring cat on their lap?

Well, my cat is evil so I may not be a good judge. Seriously, she jumped on my bed and scratched my face last night for no apparent reason. She also straches me if I walk through a room more than twice. Housework is very interesting when you can only go back and forth once. Although I'm the only one she does this too...she'll even let the boys lay on the floor and use her as a pillow.

Because...

Cats ARE evil. They are purring with satisfaction at their evil. They are pleased with the mind-control they have over you poor weak souls. Villains are enough in tune with the Evil that the cats recognize someone with a kindred spirit (who also has opposable thumbs).

I agree with you, cats get a bad wrap in the movies...

Well two reasons why TV/movie villans are associated with cats. One is that if you live with cats you learn that cats are evil. Stylish, but pure evil and that help you identify that bad guy in the show. The other reason is for those who don't serve cats and serve as an exclamation point. this character is so evil he can be evil even wiht a cat purring on thier lap.
