Dress hunting
Nov. 2nd, 2006 07:01 amI need a dress for the wedding, but not a "Wedding Dress." Yesterday I looked at every likely seeming store in Crossgates, and also the Fashion Bug in Westgate plaza. Today I'm trying Kohls, Marshalls, Dress Barn, and maybe Colonie Center. If I don't get to Colonie Center today, I will tomorrow.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Date: 2006-11-02 02:40 pm (UTC)And hey, on a whim try out David's Bridal. Not their wedding dresses, but their bridesmaid dresses. Those 2 piece dresses are in right now and they often have dresses.
I am trying to think of boutiques that might have some good places. Saratoga's main street might have something, and Woodstock or New Paltz, certainly but I don't know how far afield you want to go.

Date: 2006-11-02 02:55 pm (UTC)I obviously was not paying attention to what I was writing here. Oof. That's a confusing sentance.
I really need a "Mispelling/Bad Grammar" icon. SOmething like a page with words crossed out and re-written, mebbe some red ink... I must think on this.

Date: 2006-11-02 11:45 pm (UTC)I'm going to check Stuyvesant tomorrow.
The time frame doesn't really allow big expeditions for either shopping or fitting, but thank you for the offer.
