Hair Change, part 3

It's about 1.5 inches past my ears. The stylist tapered it like I wanted, so it's shorter in back than on the sides, and she also layered it.
It's probably been 8 years since I've had hair this short, and even longer since I've had anything other than a blunt cut. This whole concept of having hair of different lengths on different parts of my head will take some getting used to.
I didn't get the highlights today. The salon charges $75+, and I just couldn't make myself spend that kind of money on my hair. I might look around for a beauty school that will do it for less, or I might try![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dustkitten's suggestion and dye my whole head with something that will wash out in a couple of weeks.
I'll get Tom to take a picture of me when he gets home, and I'll post is as soon as I can.
