Monday is Wash Day

Reading: At home - Return Engagement by Harry Turtledove, and Double Cross by James Patterson. At work I'm still re-reading the stories at Shadow Unit.
Quick Review of Recently Finished Books: Over the weekend I finished Crooked Letter by Sean Williams. The concept was a wonderfully original end of the world scenario, but the writing was only decent, not spectacular. One thing that bugged me was that the POV changes were really abrupt, sometimes seeming to fall in the middle of a paragraph. On the other hand, the copy I was reading was a PDF that was converted for the Kindle, so some of those abrupt changes may have been illusions caused by bad formatting. I may get a paper copy out of the library and give it another try.
Hearing: Today I'm listening to music. Lots of Santana.
Wearing: No interesting clothing, but today's perfume is Chimera, from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. The Lab describes it as "The fiery, volatile scent of cinnamon, thickened by myrrh, honeysuckle, and copal." I'd describe it as a very sweet, subtle cinnamon scent, almost like candy.
Etsy find: Cherry Blossom Teardrop Earrings Pretty silver earrings with a cherry blossom design etched into them.
Tonight's Project: I have 3 ATC's I need to get made and sent out for a swap over at Swap-bot.
Randomness: What did you guys do over the weekend? Mine was fun, but not exactly relaxing.
