Body: Some vague aches and pains, mostly in my hands and feet.

Reading: I started Shakespeare's play As You Like It over the weekend.

Book Review: I finished A Sundial In A Grave: 1610 over the weekend. Overall, I really enjoyed it. It has some pretty bad reviews over at Amazon, mostly because it's aimed at a very niche audience. In order to enjoy this one, you need to like (or at least not be offended by) detailed historical fiction about the early 1600's, and subtle alternate history, and stories about hidden conspiracies steering the world, and sexuality depicted bluntly (but not particularly graphically [except for one incident early in the book]), and non-standard sexuality presented in a positive light.

That said, A Sundial In A Grave: 1610 is a kind-of-sort-of prequel to The Three Musketeers. The reader follows the character the Comte de Rochefort as he has adventures in both France and England in the years immediately following the death of King Henri IV of France.

Hearing: I'm still working through my backlog of The Roadhouse. I'm down to only 60-odd episodes.

Etsy find: A beautiful glass jewelry box.

Project Follow-up: I was ridiculously productive this weekend: Friday I started a wintergreen cordial, and bottled a few dried apricots in the half cup or so of vodka that I had left over. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, so I'm open to suggestions. Saturday was errands, and I picked up tons of odds and ends I needed to take into work. Sunday I finished a ATC I was making for a trade on Swap-Bot, then I dropped it and some other stuff off at the post office and went grocery and craft supply shopping. Sunday evening I started a few flavored vinegars, one sage and the other apricot and nutmeg. Again, I'm not sure sure what I'll use them for when they're done aging, so if you have any ideas I'm all ears. I also made some simple wintergreen candies which should be done drying in a day or two.

Tonight's Project: Staying late at work yet again. They want 5 hours of overtime out of everybody this week. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of my evening.

Randomness: Great line from a blues song I heard today: "I'm gonna do us both a favor, gonna give you a damn good leaving alone."
