No Pennsic for me

Tom's going to be heading to Pennsic without me this year.

My 90-day probationary period at work doesn't end until August 9th, and given that I already used the "but I had this vacation planned before you hired me" to get the time off for our honeymoon, I decided to skip this year.

While it was my own choice not to go, it's still a little depressing reading everybody's posts about their Pennsic plans.

Is anyone else sitting this year out?

Me, too. Or is it five? Sending Patrick, but with two family weddings this summer, I figured asking for Pennsic would constitute pushing my luck.

So here I stay.
