No Pennsic for me

jennythereaderTom's going to be heading to Pennsic without me this year.
My 90-day probationary period at work doesn't end until August 9th, and given that I already used the "but I had this vacation planned before you hired me" to get the time off for our honeymoon, I decided to skip this year.
While it was my own choice not to go, it's still a little depressing reading everybody's posts about their Pennsic plans.
Is anyone else sitting this year out?

Date: 2007-08-05 09:20 pm (UTC)Collwen & Marnen, Shelly, the Choi's, and myself are not going. Collwen & Marnen because of their moving from downstate; Shelly, Grimm forgot to girlfriend-napper I guess; the Choi's I am thinking life is saying right now,"NO!"; myself, because of lack of funds, didn't put the time off from work, and was to movitvative to go, plus, I need a new tent.
I believe the count is now 12. Sounds big enough for a Pennsic Pity Party. 9-]
