I was looking at their online catalog, and some to the storage stuff looked both useful and attractive. I think I need to physically go to one of the stores.

Do you guys think it would be easier for me to get to one of the NJ stores or to the Long Island one? Anybody want to come with? I'm thinking next weekend (the 25th or 26th).

NJ one off 17 is way easier, and the one in Elizabeth is not that much further.

LI traffic sucks, might wanna check out the MA locations too, they may even be closer.

I can never remember if MA stands for Massachusetts or Maine, so I didn't include that store in my figuring. I'll have to double check where it is.

If you go to the one in Paramus, you have to (more or less) pass our house to get there ...

That has possibilities...

I've got to double check the maps. It's not just a matter of distance or driving time, but rather of how complicated the journey is.

Well, we've gone their a bunch of times. From the thruway it's practically a straight line. It's a lot of fun, I love the store.
If you choose the NJ one and wouldn't mind compnay, give us a call!

Having somebody with me who knows how to get there gives the NJ one many bonus points. I'll give you guys a call.

Super easy drive! Take the thruway down, and when you get below them, but stop and say hi! where you can go 287, and 17, hop on 17, gas will be cheap there too, but usually it is a few gas stations in. Valero is usually cheap. The bridges are turn arounds (my husband did not understand this) Follow 17 till RT 4, Ikea will be on the left, There will be signs for Ikea plaza.
IT should take you about 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours depending on stops, speed and traffic.

We will be out of town so, once again, I guess we are not going to IKEA. You would think after all the stuff we got we would have actually been to one of the stores.

I always just a little paranoid about spending that kind of money on something I haven't seen with my own eyes.

It's not urgent though, so if you're interested in coming I can put it off a couple more weeks.
