Poem, in progress

[jennythereader]

Early Spring

bare brown branches
against a smoky blue sky
no frost of leaves
softening their lines

and yet...
signs of spring appear

a single blade of grass
shows green through dead leaves

a brown bird hops across a lawn
its red breast a spark of warmth

cool breeze chases white clouds across the sky
sun shines warm against skin

Hi, just a note to say that I invited you to a dollhouse miniatures community. You'll be able to find the invite under 'communities' then 'manage your invites'. Turns out LJ doesn't notify for invitations.


Also, that's a really relaxing poem. :)
