Home From Wicked Faire
Feb. 21st, 2010 07:31 pmWe are home. The con was fun, if not something I'd want to do every weekend. I spent most of my time hanging out with
nounsandverbs and
purpura, with other folks wandering by on a regular basis. There were a lot of amazing things for sale, and a lot of people wearing unbelievable costumes. There were half a dozen performance spaces, with bands going pretty much all the time. Two that I caught and liked were The Gypsy Nomads and Coyote Run.
I had two different special outfits. I know there were pictures taken of at least one of them. If the pictures get sent to me, I'll show them off.
I think my biggest problem was that the schedule was really badly written, so it was tricky to figure out what was happening where and when, and almost impossible to find out more information than just the name of an act.
As far as my cold goes, I think I'm sicker tonight than I was when we left on Friday.
