Does anyone know a way to make Google maps zoom out to specific distances? What I want to be able to do is something like center it on my house and then zoom to 2 miles (my recreational walking range), or center it on Albany and zoom to 100 miles (recreational driving range).

If you can't zoom to a specific distance, can you tell it to draw a circle with a specified radius?

It would make my life easier if I had some sort of system that could be used to inventory the food in my kitchen. Even better if the inventory was connected to a recipe database, and would give me recipes that used what I actually had in stock.

After I get out of work I need to stop at the electronics store that's going out of business and check out their selection of flash drives. Most of the ones on Amazon seem to be between $25 and $50, so I'll see if this place has any for less than $20.

Once I get home from that stop I'm allowing myself a 15 minute break. Once that's over I'll either do dishes then make dinner or other way around. It depends on if Tom decided to go to fencing or not.

After that I'm taking the rest of the night off. Probably Sims and/or knitting.

It's a kit for making clothing that lights up on the side facing north. I would make a skirt. I would wear that skirt the next time I visited NYC, and I'd never have to worry about getting turned around when I came up from the subway again. Since I'd never lose track of north, I'd never have to worry about getting lost in NYC again.

I wonder if it's machine washable...
