Arid Air

I've had a bottle of ice water (Friday's Coke bottle, filled with water and stuck in the office freezer over the weekend) sitting on my desk since I got in this morning. It's mostly melted at this point, but there's something weird going on.

The outside is bone dry. There must not be any moisture in the air in this building at all.

No wonder my skin and eyes always feel dry enough to hurt.

At 70 degrees room temp you would need ( roughly ) less than 30% RH in order to not have condensation on your water bottle. That would be categorized as "a bit dry for some".

I'm not sure that this room is even 70 degrees. It's pretty cold in here.
